sea turtle charters

The Sea Turtle is a 36' BHM downeast style
boat. She is powered by a single 430
horsepower volvo-penta diesel engine,
allowing a 17-18 knot cruising speed. Built and
used originally for lobstering on the Long
Island sound. Capt. Wade purchased and
customized the boat for wreck and shark cage
diving.

The large cockpit area is fitted with a custom
gear donning bench, with adequate room for 6
divers. With the open stern design divers can
make a giant stride or seated entry. A deep fins
on ladder makes exits safer and faster. The
cockpit is also equipped with a fresh water
washdown (for your gear) and saltwater live
well (for your dinner).
The cabin area is clean and dry. The main
cabin has seating for everyone and is equipped
with a DVD player and Xm satellite radio for
your enjoyment. The v-berth (down below) has
bunks for 5 people, a stand-up head and small
galley area with microwave and stove top. Ice,
coolers and the bar-b-que are kept on deck.
Surface supplied 02 is always available and
there is a mini booster on board for rebreather
bottles and stages.

36 mile 2 radars, 2- VHF's, 2-sonars, 2 GPS, 2
chart plotters, 8-person offshore life raft, class
A EPIRB, cell phone, satellite phone, offshore
first aid kit, all the required USCG safety
equipment (type 1 life jackets, flares,etc...) and
DAN emergency 02 kit.
