Shinnecock
During the 2008 season, we will be offering dive
charters from Shinnecock Inlet, NY. The trips will
be aboard a 28' Privateer, which has been outfitted
for divers. On one day of each weekend we will
focus primarily on the close sites, such as the
Shinnecock Reef, which is only 2 miles out of the
inlet and holds two popular wrecks, the Mandy Ray
and Flat Top. Weekday trips will include longer
boat rides to more diverse sites. The Coimbra,
which is one of the best dives on the east coast, will
be less then 2 hrs. from the inlet! The vessel is a
6-pack, obviously meaning we can carry only 6
passengers, but most trips will be limited to 4 or 5
divers depending on the location we dive. For more
